The majority of patients served on 19 James are admitted with the following patient care needs: Continuous cardiac monitoring related to chemotherapy administration Soft tissue malignancy receiving diagnostic services, chemotherapy and symptom management. Symptom management secondary to disease related treatment or progression. -Management of comorbidities. -Heavy focus on infection prevention protocols and patient falls *Special Equipment: B450 monitors GE telemetry system Bladder Scanner Alaris pumps Stryker beds Requirements Minimum 2 Years RN experience required Certs: BCLS Ratio: 1:4 Required to float within units of equivalent or lower level of acuity. PREVIOUS TRAVEL EXPERIENCE PREFERRED! EPIC EXPERIENCE REQUIRED!! Skill Required: - Interpretation of dysrhythmias - Accessing Ports - Arterial line management - Blood Product Administration - Central line care/management - PICC line management - IV START - Assist with Chest Tube Insertion/Removal - high Flow Nasal Cannula (HFNC - interpretation of ABGs Agency staff have the following parking permit options (purchased through CampusParc at osu.campusparc.com): The WB and CXS permits require annual payment upfront and are not available as monthly permits. CXS Annual Permit: 9th Avenue East and West Garages on weekends and holidays; Buckeye CX and West Campus lots 24/7 $393.96/year. WB Parking Details: Parking is available in West Campus Carmack Lots 2 and 3, approximately 1.7 miles from OSU Wexner Medical Center. The Pink Shuttle runs every 3 5 minutes during peak times and reaches the medical center in approximately 8 9 minutes. Weekend garage access is available from Friday at 2:00 p.m. through Monday at 8:00 a.m. Outside those hours, regular hourly garage rates apply. Refund Information: Prorated refunds may be available for unused future months on annual permits. Current and prior months are not refundable.
