About the Role The Roads Home Health Care is looking for a Licensed Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to provide skilled physical therapy services to patients of all ages in their homes across South Florida, working under the supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist. This is a great opportunity for a hands-on clinician who wants to build real relationships with patients and see the direct impact of home health care. Both full-time and per diem opportunities are available.

• Perform physical therapy treatment services as planned, delegated, and supervised by the Physical Therapist
• Guide patients through therapeutic exercises and treatment techniques to support recovery and mobility
• Use strong interpersonal and communication skills to teach patients and family caregivers
• Complete accurate, timely clinical documentation for each patient visit
• Apply infection control practices and standard precautions during all patient care activities
• Accept clinical assignments consistent with your training, education, and competency level
• Participate in required continuing education and in-service training programs
• Communicate patient progress and changes in condition to the supervising Physical Therapist
• Support patients through therapeutic exercises, gait training, and mobility activities during each home visit

Job Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program with an Associate Degree in Physical Therapy
• Current, valid state license to practice as a Physical Therapist Assistant
• One year of experience as a PTA preferred
• Current CPR certification and Hepatitis profile
• Valid driver's license, reliable transportation, and current auto liability insurance

Qualifications

• Good interpersonal skills and a warm, professional bedside manner
• Ability to work flexible schedules and travel locally between patient homes
• Comfortable managing physical demands including lifting, bending, and prolonged standing or walking
• Strong hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity for hands-on treatment
• Ability to stay organized and meet patient care deadlines independently
• Genuine commitment to supporting patients' physical therapy goals with patience and encouragement
• Prior home health experience a plus
• Bilingual candidates a plus
