Job Description

Description: We are seeking a high-impact Senior Data Architect to accelerate our data initiatives, drive architectural standards, and design the foundational capabilities required to advance our long-term data strategy. This role will shape the architecture of our Data Platform and its suite of data and information services. You will collaborate closely with product managers and technical leadership to define architectural direction and ensure high-quality implementation across a hybrid environment (on-premises, co-location facilities, and cloud-with cloud as our strategic destination). This is an advanced individual contributor role with no direct reports, designed for a senior professional who thrives on delivering rapid outcomes, implementing modernization best practices, and building highly reusable long-term technical assets.

Key Responsibilities:

• End-to-End Architecture: Design comprehensive data solutions and provide implementation oversight in strict alignment with enterprise architecture standards.
• Landscape Assessment: Evaluate the current data infrastructure to identify gaps, risks, and immediate opportunities for modernization.
• Artifact Creation: Deliver actionable architecture artifacts-including data models, integration patterns, and platform designs-under compressed timelines.
• Capability Enhancement: Strengthen foundational data capabilities such as ingestion pipelines, domain models, metadata frameworks, and data quality structures.
• Pattern Standardisation: Define, document, and promote scalable architecture patterns for immediate adoption by engineering teams.
• Cross-Functional Partnership: Collaborate closely with internal architects, engineers, and business stakeholders to translate complex requirements into actionable designs.
• Technical Leadership: Provide hands-on leadership for high-priority initiatives, ensuring solutions are modern, scalable, and secure while maintaining high development velocity.
• Industry Best Practices: Introduce modern industry standards and advanced data methodologies to continuous improvement pipelines.
